Damavand Mirage Tower has the ambitious goal to combine the most modern architectural technology with an aesthetic extremely modern and linear. The 70,000 square meter tower stands to become the third most ‘high tower of the Iranian capital. In order to cope the strong winds architectural sails were studied aimed to cutting these winds and their impact on the façad. At the same time, a geometric and linear design emphasizes the importance and grandeur of the tower. The great open space within the commercial area and the heights games not only lighten the structure but gives brightness to the interior. For interiors and outdoor Ahmadistudio took inspiration from the Iranian architectural tradition, more precisely from the Safavid period.
